EDL Solihull Demo Organiser Charged with Racist Bus Attack

More EDL racists being charged, remember these are the Euro pals of Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer:

EDL Solihull demo organiser charged with racist bus attack

A senior member of the English Defence League’s Birmingham Division has been charged with a racist attack on a bus in the Cattell Road area of the city.

The attack, which took place in October last year, resulted in a 35-year-old man being repeatedly punched in the face and ribs after trying to stop two men who were racially abusing another passenger on the number 60 bus.

The driver of the bus then intervened and the men left.

After the attack, PC Paul Davey, of the Birmingham Investigation Team, said: “This was a shocking racist attack against a man who was trying to protect a fellow passenger.”

Sutton Coldfield based EDL member Matty P runs the Birmingham Division’s blog and is organising a demo in Solihull on the 13th January.

EDL by-election candidate Clint Bristow in custody on burglary charges

An activist for the far-right English Defence League who stood in the recent Rotherham byelection has been remanded in jail on burglary charges.

Brian Clint Bristow, usually known as Clint, came last in the 29 November byelection with just 29 votes. A little over two weeks later, on 16 December, the 39-year-old was charged by Humberside police with burglary. After being refused bail, he was remanded in custody and spent Christmas in jail.

He is accused of trespassing on private property and stealing toiletries, money and a mobile phone then making threats of violence. The alleged burglary took place in the coastal village of Bempton, near Bridlington.

Bristow was refused bail at Bridlington magistrates court and the case has been transferred to Hull crown court.

British Freedom Party Flounders

British_Freedom_Party

Jai has tipped us to the fact that the British Freedom Party has been de-registered by the electoral commission:

The British Freedom Party, the EDL’s “political wing”, has been de-registered by the electoral commission in the UK. It means that the BFP are now defunct as a political party and the EDL leadership’s plans have therefore collapsed completely on this front.

This is very welcome and important news.

You will recall that BFP leader Paul Weston has become one of Geller & Spencer’s closest allies and, like EDL leaders Stephen Yaxley-Lennon (aka “Tommy Robinson”) and Kevin Carroll, Weston attended Geller & Spencer’s anti-Muslim conference in NY in September 2012. Jai provided more background information on Weston in an LW article about Spencer.  Geller & Spencer’s efforts to spread their poison to the British political sphere via the BFP/EDL have utterly failed.

Note that Yaxley-Lennon himself is of course still incarcerated for illegally entering the US to attend Spencer & Geller’s conference alongside Kevin Carroll and BFP leader Paul Weston. Yaxley-Lennon’s court trial is pending in 2013. Potentially he will also be extradited to the US for his crime.

British Freedom surrender under a cloud of secrecy

(EDL News)

The English Defence League’s political wing, the British Freedom Party, appears to have wound up it’s operations and de-registered themselves from the electoral commission by not sending them their £25 fee. Nothing has been posted on any of their social media websites since the 12th December which is the day after they were de-registered.

This means that they will not be able to field any candidates under the parties name but could field independents.

The party, set up to catch the vote from EDL supporters failed to take off due to the fact that support of the EDL was rapidly declining and many EDL members were more interested in a drunken day out than taking their views down the political road.  The EDL’s support is currently at an all time low and they have become a liability.

Their local election results last year were a shambles where they fielded five candidates and the highest vote they got for one candidate was 79.  They had slightly more success putting their deputy leader, Kevin Carroll, up for the PCC elections in Bedfordshire but that was largely put down to voter apathy.

Jailed leader of the English Defence League, Tommy Robinson, was until recently deputy leader of the BFP but had to resign due to his alleged criminal activity surfacing and the imminent threat that he was to be jailed.

Their current deputy leader, Kevin Carroll, is on bail on suspicion of ‘conspiracy to cause a public nuisance’ after a furniture van full of balaclava clad EDL supporters were stopped on the motorway, suspected of being on their way to target a mosque in London.  Carroll answers bail in February.

It appears the party has gone under due to the fact that they had no credibility within the far right due to their association with the English Defence League who are generally seen as a bit of a joke by other nationalist groups.

EDL Forgets It’s Not Supposed to Be Racist–Again

Geller and Spencer’s British buddies whipping up racial fears and hatred of immigrants, but we’re supposed to believe them when they say that the EDL is not racist.

Look at message that the “defenders of freedom and democracy” are pushing on Twitter.

North East Infidel Nazis Join EDL March at Shotton Colliery Protest

After condemning “North East Infidels” as Nazis the EDL are teaming up with them again.

Two arrested at EDL Shotton Colliery protest

Two men were arrested yesterday during a protest over a planned Muslim education centre in the North.

Police estimate that around 200 members of the English Defence League turned out to the protest in the former pit village of Shotton Colliery, County Durham.

The arrests were made for breach of bail conditions, a spokesperson for Durham Police said.

Superintendent Helen McMillan said: “Although Durham Constabulary respects the right for people to take part in peaceful protests, we will ensure that law and order is maintained at all times.

“We had effective resources in place to ensure the event proceeded peacefully for the safety of everyone,” she said. “The men are currently being held in a local police station where they are helping police with enquiries.”

The protest took place between 2pm and 4pm and was supervised by officers from across the force. An onlooker said the protest was “well behaved but not completely peaceful”, adding that fireworks were thrown down the street.

He said at one stage a woman emerged from a house near the village green, where the EDL members were based, to confront the protesters.

Businessman Kaiser Choudry applied for permission earlier this year to turn the Melrose Arms, a disused pub in Front Street, into a centre for the local Muslim community.

Durham County Council received a 102-signature petition and 13 letters against the conversion. The majority of the objections were about potential parking and traffic problems rather than the planned purpose of the building.

Mr Choudry had previously made an application to turn the old pub into a prayer hall, but this was withdrawn.

The businessman said earlier this year: “I have been in the village for 25 years and the community has been supporting me. I want to give something back to the community.”

Sunday Sun, 3 December 2012

The EDL have hailed the Shotton Colliery protest as proof that their organisation is not on its death bed. You’ll see that the EDL were pleased to welcome a contingent from the North East Infidels on the demonstration. Only months ago the EDL were denouncing the North East Infidels (entirely accurately) as Nazis, but now apparently the NEI have been transformed into “great patriots”.

EDL Leader Stephen Lennon Charged with Mortgage Fraud

EDL leader Stephen Lennon (aka Tommy Robinson) has been charged with multiple counts of mortgage fraud. So on top of being an anti-Muslim bigot and all around Islamophobe he’s also a suspected criminal who loves committing fraud through the tactic of false representation.

These charges are separate from the investigation relating to Yaxley-Lennon’s prosecution and (current incarceration) for illegally entering the US to attend Pamela Geller & Robert Spencer’s conference in New York in September 2012. (h/t: Jai)

EDL leader Stephen Lennon charged with mortgage fraud

(BBCNews)

Stephen Lennon, 30, is accused of three counts of conspiracy to commit fraud by false representation in relation to a mortgage application.

Mr Lennon is due before St Albans Magistrates Court on 7 December.

He will appear with five others, from Luton, Silsoe in Bedfordshire and Watford, who were arrested as part of the same investigation.

They face charges including fraud, money-laundering and possession of drugs with intent to supply.

One wonders about the silence of the Yaxley-Lennon’s US partners Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller. No doubt they will continue their defense of the EDL leader and claim he is being persecuted due to politically correct multiculti influenced Sharia.

Jury shown photograph of EDL supporter wielding stick outside Kingston Mosque

Jury shown photograph of EDL supporter wielding stick outside Kingston Mosque

A jury has been shown a photograph of a man wielding a stick outside Kingston Mosque moments before an attack by masked and hooded men.

Henry Hunter, 19, denies violent disorder and racially and religiously aggravated criminal damage, after a group of men targeted the mosque in East Road.

At Kingston Crown Court, a jury of eight women and four men heard how Mr Hunter took part in a protest march through Kingston town centre on November 21, 2010.

Prosecutor Anthony Montgomery said that although the march passed without incident, several men who had been captured on CCTV during the protest later threw sticks, bottles and rashers of bacon at the mosque, and damaged a sign attached to the building.

Photographs allegedly showing Mr Hunter, of Kingston Crescent, in Ashford, among the group were shown to the jury. The album included a photo taken in East Road by David Morris, who was jailed in April for the attack.

It showed a man said to be Mr Hunter holding a stick, and standing next to Alfie Wallace, who is also serving a prison sentence. Describing the image of Mr Hunter and Wallace, Mr Montgomery said: “It shows Mr Alfie Wallace and it shows this defendant and he is carrying, importantly, a stick or a piece of wood.”

Mr Montgomery told the jury: “A group acting as one unit began laying siege to the mosque, and all of it was completely disgraceful conduct. You will hear of beer that was thrown, bacon that was thrown, sticks that were thrown and a sign that was damaged. There was nobody who was taking a back seat. Those that were there and those with sticks were getting stuck in.”

Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer Raise Funds for EDL Leader’s Legal Defence

Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer are raising money for head EDL boss Stephen Yaxley-Lennon (aka Tommy Robinson) who was arrested for using a false passport to enter the USA and attend Geller’s anti-Muslim rally on 9/11.

Geller and Spencer are both raising funds for Yaxley-Lennon, and involvement in the conspiracy to illegally bring Yaxley-Lennon over may includeNew York State Senator David Storbin. (h/t: Jai)

Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer Raise Funds for EDL Leader’s Legal Defence

(Barth’s Notes)

Pamela Geller writes about the plight of English Defence League leader Stephen Yaxley-Lennon (aka “Tommy Robinson”), who was recently arrested:

Many of you have responded to my article “Darkness Descending in England” by asking how to help. Legal funds are badly needed. Tommy’s situation in prison is terrible, and they urgently need to raise funds to pay lawyers to address this situation and provide him with the best possible legal defense.

Donations to Tommy’s legal fund can be made online via the EDL website here. Please, do it. SION as well as AFDI are contributing, in addition to all of the other work we are doing, This is a priority. Robinson and Kevin Carroll are part of our international team, members of SION’s President’s council, key players in the worldwide struggle for freedom.

Demand equal treatment for Tommy Robinson rather than sharia inspired victimisation!

Robert Spencer, as ever, is providing the chorus, with a piece entitled “Urgent: Help defend Tommy Robinson from a monstrously unjust leviathan state apparatus”.

Carroll and Robinson attended an anti-Islam conference organised by Geller in New York on 11 September; Carroll memorably waved around British tabloid newspapers bearing headlines about Christianity in the UK. Robinson’s presence was curious; as the anti-EDL site EDL News noted:

…in September 2010, Robinson travelled over to the United States to attend a 9/11 event with other far right extremists. Upon arrival he was detained at John F Kenedy airport for several hours, refused entry and was then deported. No doubt due to his links with the far right and his lenghty criminal record, which has increased significantly since then with a spell on remand in the UK, a conviction for assault and three days inside a Swiss prison for a rooftop protest that went wrong.

One explanation is someone in high places has pulled strings for Robinson to enter the country. Robinson claimed on Twitter last night that he was sat next to New York State Senator David Storobin.

Now, however, it has been reported that

He tried to use a passport in the name of “Andrew McMaster” to enter the United States on September 10 this year, Southwark Crown Court heard.

Of course, at this moment in time the claim is just an allegation, and we should not infer guilt ahead of legal action. However, it is difficult to see in the arrest evidence of “sharia inspired victimisation”. It has also been noted that Robinson sent a Tweet to Geller on 10 Oct, asking for her phone number and adding ”Think there will be some activity this week about my trip to the usa”.

Robinson has also mentioned another allegation:

Arrested on suspicion of assault on Sayful Islam yest in B.Park? U can’t make this up. He still not been arrested for assaulting me on tv?

I blogged on Islam’s assault on Robinson (a slap through a car window) here. It should be remembered that Robinson is reluctant to involve the police in such matters.

A second element in the story is the arrest of 53 EDL members on a motorway soon afterwards; according to the BBC:

The men were heading to a location in east London, but police have not revealed where they were due to gather.

All 53 were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to cause public nuisance, the Metropolitan Police said.

Geller wrote:

The arrest of over 53 people in the United Kingdom is the beginning of the end for once-great Britain. The leaders of the English Defence League (EDL), Tommy Robinson and Kevin Carroll, were among those arrested, as well as Paul Weston of the British Freedom Party (BF).

…According to Carroll, Robinson was incarcerated for leaving the United Kingdom and entering the United States fraudulently for our September 11, 2012 Stop Islamization of Nations free speech conference in New York City.

…This is a defining moment in British history, as significant as any major turning point. It is in many respects like the Night of the Long Knives, which marked the point of no return from Nazism for Germany.

Geller’s historical parallel means that she’s comparing the EDL to the Brownshirts, although presumably this is unintentional. Carroll was arrested separately, while Weston was later arrested for breach of the peace while “demanding” information about Robinson at Wormwood Scrubs prison in west London. This turned out to be the wrong location; Robinson was in fact at Wandsworth.

Up until the middle of last year, Geller and Spencer were wary of association with EDL; the alliance was finally cemented in June. Having invested so heavily in the organisation, they have no other option than to continue aggressively to assert a narrative of political persecution; but one wonders if privately they have reservations. The video below, uploaded by “MrlaughingattheEDL” and expanded upon by EDL News, suggests there is good reason for them to be cautious.

EDL Leader and Bedfordshire Police Commissioner Candidate Says All Muslims Are Backward Savages

EDL leader and Bedfordshire Police Commissioner candidate says all Muslims are backward savages

EDL News draws our attention to a recent Facebook comment by Kevin Carroll, who is now leading the English Defence League during the enforced absence of his cousin Stephen Lennon, and is also standing as the British Freedom party candidate for Police and Crime Commissioner in Bedfordshire.

The official EDL line is that they are opposed to Islam as a barbaric 7th-century ideology, but have nothing against its followers. In reality, of course, the EDL is a movement of far-right racists who just hate Muslims, as the vile comments that its rank-and-file supporters post on Facebook demonstrate every day. And, as Carroll shows here, even the EDL leaders sometimes allow their mask to slip.

“Jewish” Pamela Geller’s “Christian” EDL ally rants about non-Christians being “pagans”

Robert Spencer – Kevin Carroll – Pamela Geller – Stephen Yaxley-Lennon – Stockholm August 2012

Original guest article by Jai

Readers will be aware that Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller’s main British allies are the English Defence League/British Freedom Party leadership. The EDL’s “second-in-command” is Kevin Carroll, who is also the BFP’s co-deputy leader. Along with EDL leader/BFP deputy leader Stephen Yaxley-Lennon (aka “Tommy Robinson”), Kevin Carroll was involved in hosting the anti-Muslim demonstration in Stockholm in August 2012 alongside Robert Spencer, Pamela Geller, BFP leader Paul Weston, and European neo-Nazis.

Kevin Carroll at Pamela Geller’s “SION” anti-Muslim conference in New York

Along with Yaxley-Lennon, Kevin Carroll was also one of the main speakers at Geller’s anti-Muslim conference in New York on September 11th 2012, a fact that Geller has enthusiastically publicised on her “Atlas Shrugs” website. Other speakers included David Yerushalmi, who has represented Geller in various lawsuits. Kevin Carroll himself repeatedly made false claims about the current situation in the United Kingdom and continued his long-term behaviour pattern of hijacking Christianity. He previously attended Geller’s demonstration against the so-called “Ground Zero Mosque” in New York in September 2010.

Kevin Carroll’s views on non-Christians

Ironically, in December 2010, Kevin Carroll wrote a number of very revealing comments on Facebook which were posted online on his behalf by Yaxley-Lennon’s PA Hel Gower (multiple screenshots here). In these comments:

1. Kevin Carroll ranted about executing “traitors”, ie. opponents of the EDL.
2. Kevin Carroll continued by ranting about Britain being “a Christian country not a multicultural one”, and he also explicitly described Christianity as “the fundamental culture” of Britain.
3. Kevin Carroll is clearly (mis)using “multicultural” to mean “multireligious” (and similarly, misusing “culture” to mean “religion”).
4. Kevin Carroll ranted about Britain being a Christian country absolutely everywhere.
5. Kevin Carroll explicitly described non-Christians as “pagans”.
6. Kevin Carroll ranted that he will never “bend or bow” to such “pagans”.
7. Apart from confirming the EDL/BFP leadership’s fanatical religious supremacism, Kevin Carroll’s statements also:

a) Confirm their extreme bigotry towards non-Christians in general, not just Muslims, including the various non-Christian groups the EDL/BFP leadership are cynically trying to court as allies against Muslims;

and b) Most revealing of all, Kevin Carroll’s bigoted statements about “pagans” also expose the EDL/BFP leadership’s real attitudes towards their American Jewish allies Pamela Geller, David Yerushalmi, and Robert Spencer’s “boss” David Horowitz.

It is currently unclear whether Geller, Yerushalmi and Horowitz are aware of what their main British allies actually think of them, or whether they are so utterly lacking in self-respect that they are happy to be formally allied with individuals who are on record as explicitly stating how much they despise non-Christians and regard them as “pagans”.
